So, who is Cora? During a recent episode of The Tamron Hall Show, the actress revealed that her spouse misheard her birth name, Carol Denise, and began referring to her as “Cora.”

Jessica confirmed the news, revealing she addressed her wife by the wrong name for "nearly two years" when they were dating.

Jessica explained, “One day, she said, ‘Why do you call me Cora?’ And I was like, ‘That’s your name!'”

“No, it’s not,” Niecy responded. “I thought it was something that the cool kids called each other in New York on the street!”

“I said, ‘My name is not Cora’ and she said, ‘It is now,'” Niecy joked.
