Meghan Markle Celebrates Lilibet’s Birthday with a Throwback Labor Room Dance Clip
Meghan Markle recently gave fans a rare peek behind the curtain of one of her most intimate moments.
In celebration of her daughter, Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday on June 4, the Duchess of Sussex posted a playful video filmed inside a hospital delivery room just before giving birth.
In the clip, the mom-of-two could be seen dancing around in a black dress with her baby bump on full display while Starrkeisha’s “The Baby Momma Dance” blares in the background. The viral track, best known for sparking the online trend among expectant moms, also got Prince Harry to join in on the fun.
Seconds after the clip begins, viewers can see Harry as he enters the frame, matching Meghan’s moves.
“Four years ago today, this also happened,” the former actress captioned the heartwarming video on Instagram. “Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work, there was only one thing left to do!”
Meghan also shared never-before-seen family photos to mark the special day, highlighting “the sweetest bond” between Harry and their daughter.
One black-and-white shot showed Harry cradling newborn Lilibet, while another captured the duo walking barefoot, hand in hand, down a sunlit path. “Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer,” Meghan wrote.
