F**K Donald Trump: See All Of The Disrespectful Things Trump Has Done To Black People Since Being Elected
With the one-year anniversary of the presidential election, protesters have come out in droves to ask the world, again, "Whose mans is this in office?" Donald Trump has managed to annoy, aggravate and otherwise piss off people of just about every creed and color since assuming office (*heavy-ass sigh*). Despite being tasked with representing all Americans, here are some of the ways he's managed to disrespect the Black community:
'Don't Be Too Nice'
Even in light of the numerous killings of unarmed Black people at the hands of law enforcement, Trump tells police not to be "too nice." Granted, this is said in the context of arresting gang members. However, it shows a complete lack of tact, if not disregard for the current state of relations between the police and the Black community.
Being Unaware of Our Fallen Historical Figures
What he's saying about these luminaries, particularly Frederick Douglass, is like when the teacher calls on you, and you try to talk like you know the answer. Trump should've done his homework on this one.
PR Stunts
On the surface, calling a presidential meeting with the heads of historically black colleges and universities around the U.S. is an act worthy of praise. But in actuality, some of the institutions' leaders feel this was nothing more than a gesture with no weight or value.
'Do YOU Want to Set Up The Meeting?'
Right, because all Black people know each other...
Taking it Way Too Far
It's almost unbelievable. It's like Trump has always had a few too many drinks and will say the most disrespectful thing that comes to mind. This comment was in response to NFL playing kneeling during the national Anthem in protest against police brutality. Completely tasteless commentary.
