Halle Berry Had Time For One Twitter User Who Mistakenly Thought She Was Portraying Ariel In 'The Little Mermaid'

Berry clapped back at the clueless Twitter user with a simple photo that got straight to the point.

Following the release of Disney’s The Little Mermaid trailer on Friday (Sept.9), a confused white Twitter user wrote a tweet that seemingly dissed Halle Berry, and she made time to respond.

Twitter user @suicidesportif tried to shade the Catwoman actress by age-shaming the stunningly youthful 56-year-old baddie. The person confused the actress for the gorgeous 22-year-old star of The Little Mermaid, Halle Bailey.

In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote, “Halle Berry is nearly 60 playing the role of a 16-year-old girl. This is what happens when you upset a fandom.”

Berry clapped back at the clueless Twitter user with a simple photo that got straight to the point. The image was of a clip from VH1’s Flava of Love with straight-faced Black women, including actress and comedienne Mo’Nique, ice grilling some poor fool.

Black Twitter pounced at the opportunity to tell @suicideportif that she should have just sat and ate her food.

One Twitter user bigged up both Halles’ beauty.

The Little Mermaid drops in theaters in May 2023.
