Hip Hop Awards 2022: GloRilla Makes Her Show Debut With 3 Outfit Changes!
The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, hosted by Fat Joe, aired on Tuesday night, and Actor Tyrese Gibson presented the first award of the evening to Best Breakthrough Hip Hop Artist GloRilla.
The Memphis rapper's smash single F.N.F. (Let's Go), produced by HitKidd, scaled the charts after its April release date, catapulting the 23-year-old Tennessee native to superstar status.
Rapper and founder of Collective Music Group Yo Gotti, who signed GloRilla to his label in July, told Billboard it's one of the quickest rises he has seen. "[She] only dropped in late April, and now she has the hottest cultural records in music," said Gotti.
The artist was short on words, but she thanked Gotti for his support in her acceptance speech.
GloRilla's outfits, on the other hand, did all the talking: The young rapper walked the carpet in a sexy black leather outfit, including cut-out thigh-high boots and belted corset, and the blonde hair and bling accessories pulled the edgy look together perfectly!
She then changed into a metallic silver and red shorts set to perform her hit song, and then opted for a bedazzled catsuit and even swamped out her blonde tresses for a firey red look.
These sassy looks say she's totally in control!
