Colin Kaepernick Relentlessly Heckled By Fans At Madison Square Garden

He was reportedly called a “bum.”

Colin Kaepernick went to Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks play on Wednesday night (February 2), and while it looked like he had a good time, the end of it was sad to say the least.

Spotted sitting next to Spike Lee courtside, the two may have been celebrating the start of their new project together: a multi-part docuseries for ESPN Films that will chronicle the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback-turned activist’s life story.

After the Knicks lost the game, Kaepernick was filmed leaving the arena, but not before he was mercilessly heckled by fans there.

Outside of MSG, fans could be heard yelling at Kaepernick, calling him a “bum” and that he “could never throw a football,” despite the fact that he took the Niners to XLVII in 2013.

In the video, Kaep never looked toward hecklers and didn’t acknowledge them.
