Former Pimp Who Hates Lee Daniels Is Making His Own Version of Empire

See what the self-proclaimed "real life Lucious Lyon" has planned.

Once again, someone is coming forward claiming Lee Daniels ripped off his life story to create the massive hit Empire. According to TMZ, Ron Newt, a former pimp, has created a reality version of the show himself and is currently shopping it around to networks.

Titled The Newt Empire, the show follows Ron and his family, filled with other music hopefuls, as they try to get their big break. Ron's specific angle is a little different from the others, though — he is trying to mend relationships he's screwed up over the years.

While the story line is interesting in itself, what's a bit disturbing is, based on the promo reel, Ron actually thinks he is the real life Lucious Lyon.

Ron filed a billion dollar lawsuit against Daniels and Terrence Howard back in 2015, claiming Empire made its debut right after he pitched the idea to Howard. While the case is still ongoing, Newt is trying to rake in a few coins based on what he feels is his story to tell.
