2021 Soul Train Awards: Who Is R&B Singer And Songwriter ELHAE?

The Atlanta based singer-songwriter is making some serious noise with his single “Fun Fact”.

The 2021 Soul Train Awards will be a celebration to remember, and an occasion best fitting to be held in a place where many Soul Train Awards recipients have gotten their start.  However, not only do we celebrate the current entertainers shaking up the R&B and soul world but also those ready to take on the torch as the next class of legendary artists.

Jamaal Jones, or ELHAE fans may know him, an acronym for “Every Life Has An Ending,” is next in line.

The 31-year-old former military kid raised in Savannah, Georgia made his full length debut with his eleven-track album titled All Have Fallen. The singer-songwriter delivers a hybrid mix of alternative and commercial R&B which can be heard in songs such as “Comfortable.” The Atlanta based artist found ample success with the project which found itself in the upper half of Billboard’s R&B/hip-hop chart following its release.

Much like many R&B and soul acts, rising or iconic, ELHAE's musical beginnings began in the church, singing in his mother’s choir. Since signing with major record label Atlantic, home of some of the singer’s own musical inspirations.

His most recent project, “Aura III” released last April, has several stand out tracks including “Fun Fact” featuring Miami rapper Rick Ross. ELHAE sings over a groovy baseline, before Ross comes in with the assist with signature flow.

“My City,” brings a sultry sound beautifully blended with a mix of R&B and Masego’s signature trap-jazz sound.

This year, ELHAE can be found on BET's Amplified Stage at this year's Soul Train Awards. Soul artist Ella Nicole took over the amplified stage at the 2020 award ceremony. While we gear up for this year’s performance, take a look at a song from ELHAE proving why he deserves to be in the spotlight.
