Two High School Students Spent 48 Hours in Jail for Sagging Pants

School official says he gave them several indecent exposure warnings.

There may be such as thing as a fashion police in high school. A violation of a school dress code sent two high school kids to county jail in Tennessee after four students were accused of indecent exposure.

THE LOW DOWN ON SAGGY PANTS LAWS

One of the students, 18-year-old Antonio Ammons, from Bolivar Central High, says he spent 48 hours in jail and now has to figure out how to pay $250 in court costs and fines. “I just took it and went on. I didn't know what else to do," Ammons said.

School resource officer Charles Woods claimed he had warned the students several times before officially charging them with indecent exposure. While parents and students agree that something needs to be done about the school dress code, most believe jail time is going too far.

Wonder if girls wearing booty shorts are getting the same kind of punishment?
