Phaedra Parks Responds to Rumors She's Facing Tough Times After Getting Fired From 'Real Housewives'

Life is hard without a peach.

After her antics in the past season, Phaedra Parks was reportedly benched from Real Housewives of Atlanta — and now it seems losing a peach comes at a big price.
Over the weekend, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Parks had listed her $1.91 million mansion for lease, leading many to believe the reality star and lawyer is downsizing her life now that the cameras won't be around every day.

After the AJC posted the story, Phaedra was quick to clap back that it's #FakeNews — but the newspaper brought the receipts:

See if Parks could be disbarred with BET Breaks, above.

  • Here's the original post AJC made on Saturday morning:

  • Phaedra hopped on Twitter claiming #FakeNews, and insisting that she's still living her fabulous life:

  • She then went off on AJC in a series of tweets...

  • ...but AJC came through with the receipts. The reporter of the story posted a statement in response to Phaedra's allegations, reading, "Soon after I posted this story earlier today (July 29), the lease option vanished off Zillow.com and Parks posted on Twitter that the 'rumor' is a 'lie.' Fortunately, Google had cached the version showing the lease offer before it was changed. Here it is from earlier today. The agent listed was Johntez Williams." Bloop!

  • Welp. Phaedra, there's no shame in making smart financial decisions, especially when you have two kids to support and one less check to count on. Besides, house or no house, peach or no peach, we think Phaedra will be just fine.
