Keith Lee Helps Feed Over 4,200 Families at Minnie’s Food Pantry Thanksgiving Giveaway
Keith Lee brought his heart and community-first spirit to North Texas last weekend, stepping into Minnie’s Food Pantry’s 18th Annual Thanksgiving Giveaway and helping feed more than 4,200 families, which is the organization’s largest holiday distribution since it began.
With families still recovering from the recent government shutdown and the temporary pause of SNAP benefits, the need for support has grown sharply. The food critic’s presence not only helped those in need, but also drew national eyes to the rising food insecurity affecting communities across the country.
As part of his nationwide initiative, “A Family That SNAPS Back,” he donated $12,000 worth of turkeys, ensuring even more households were able to bring a holiday meal home.
He didn’t just show up, but he also rolled up his sleeves.
The social media personality spent the morning volunteering alongside the organization, handing out meals, connecting with families, and using his platform to encourage others to give back.
He also teamed up with partner brands to widen the impact, turning the day into a true community effort. In all, more than 4,200 families received support this year, many of whom are still finding their footing after unexpected benefit interruptions.
The entrepreneur’s involvement helped Minnie’s Food Pantry meet that moment with compassion, expanded resources, and a sense of dignity for every person who came through.
The massive effort was powered by the community, including 818 volunteers and a roster of generous sponsors who helped bring the giveaway to life.
Lee made a video discussing the partnership and shouting out all the brands who participated to support this initiative.
"Not only do we have meals, but we’ve got packages from a bunch of different brands," he said in the video.
"This is our way of saying happy holidays."
