Kid Rock Says He Uses N-Word

The rapper and singer uses the controversial word "all the time."

Kid Rock considers the N-word to be harmless slang and uses it all the time, the Michigan rocker revealed to Howard Stern on his radio program last week.

The "Bawitdaba" singer claims he and his friends, who consider the racially-charged term "harmless," feel they are "mimicking popular culture" when they use the word. "We're all having a good time, cuttin' it up, like when rappers take things too far," he says to Stern.
When the shock jock asked whether he felt it was appropriate to use the word around his biracial son, who is half Black, Kid answered, "why not?"
Not known to be politically correct, Rock went on to explain that he feels society has become too fearful of saying offensive things. His admission coincides with Paula Deen's damage control over her use of the N-word back in the day, a fact she was forced to admit during a deposition for a sexual harassment lawsuit levied against her company by a former employee.
Deen has since been fired from Food Network, home of her popular cooking show.
