Ciara Responds to Russell Wilson’s Push for Baby No. 5
Ciara is making it clear that while her husband, Russell Wilson, may be on team baby number five, she’s the one calling the shots.
The “Goodies” hitmaker recently sat down with Access Hollywood and didn’t hold back when asked about Wilson’s not-so-subtle campaign to expand their family once again.
“Let me tell you, someone needs to take my husband’s phone right now, okay? Because he needs to stop,” the singer quipped. “Listen, Amora came out and he start talking about ‘Cinco?’ I’m like, ‘That’s just disrespectful. Do you know what I just went through right now with this?’”
Wilson, who shares three children with Ciara — daughter Sienna Princess, 7, son Win Harrison, 4, and baby girl Amora Princess, 16 months — has been openly pushing for “Cinco” since their youngest was born in December 2023. Ciara is also mom to 10-year-old Future Zahir from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
During the chat, the star revealed that her husband’s playful persistence has gained significant support.
“He’s got a great campaign going, I’m not gonna lie,” she said, laughing. When host Zuri Hall pointed out that many fans seem to be rallying behind the NFL star’s mission, Ciara responded, “Yeah, the people are following Rus. They all team Rus, like wait y’all not gone have like a little love and sympathy for my ovaries over here [and] for my uterus?”
Wilson’s baby fever has been a running joke on social media. It started last October when he cheekily commented, “I’m ready when you are. We can call him Cinco,” under a series of Ciara’s glam photos. The quarterback doubled down on the jokes after the singer shared a Carnival clip last month, writing, “This is my mating call I see… Cinco goin’ to be on di way!”
Ciara, clearly amused but standing firm, replied, “Someone come take my husband’s phone please,” adding laughing emojis. Check out the conversation below.
