DJ Jaycee Predicts Upcoming Club Bangers From Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly

Before he competes in the Red Bull Thre3style National Final, the ATL deejay does some forecasting.

We’re just over a quarter of the way into the year, but with albums from hip hop juggernauts like Drake (If You're Reading This It's Too Late), Big Sean (Dark Sky Paradise) and Kendrick Lamar (To Pimp a Butterfly) keeping bodies in motion, it’s safe to say 2015 is going to be a landmark year for hip hop.

Atlanta native DJ Jaycee currently has all three in heavy rotation. But in an arena where it’s all about crowning one champion, Jaycee, like most people, says all hail King Kendrick.

“Kendrick's LP is by far my favorite out of those three in terms of lyrical content and replay value,” Jaycee told BET.com.

With singles like “i” and “King Kunta” already setting the charts ablaze, K. Dot’s presence on airwaves across the world is unquestionable. According to Jaycee, it’s merely the beginning of something bigger.

“I see about four joints from Kendrick's LP potentially heating up the clubs and radio,” said Jaycee. "'Alright,' 'These Walls,' 'Mortal Man' and 'Hood Politics.'”

After winning the Charlotte Red Bull Thre3style regional final, Jaycee is taking his talents to Phoenix for the national final.
