Last night, the cast and creators of Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas gathered at NeueHouse Hollywood to celebrate the highly anticipated launch of Perry’s new BET+ series. The red carpet affair brought out major talent and Black Hollywood elite for an evening of laughter, sisterhood, and a sneak peek at what’s already being dubbed Perry’s next binge-worthy hit.

The screening event welcomed series creator Tyler Perry and his leading cast—LeToya Luckett (“Rasheda”), Khadeen Indréa (“Geneva”), Porscha Coleman (“Naomi”), Briana Price (“Tiffany”), and Jennifer Sears (“Bridgette”). Also in the building were castmates RonReaco Lee, Donovan Christie Jr., DeVon Franklin, and Robert Christopher Riley, who all play key roles in the women’s journeys through the complexities of love, loss, and new beginnings.

Tyler Perry, never one to do things small, gave his blessing to the night with a personal appearance, mingling with guests and showing off the sisterhood behind the scenes.

Also spotted on the guest list? A mix of friends, media insiders, and fellow BET family members including Crystal Renee Hayslett (Zatima), Devale Ellis, Brandi Maxwell, Ms. Pat, Mignon, Mona Scott-Young, Slim Jxmmi, and content creator Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks. Brittany Renner and Ty Young also pulled up, rounding out a night that was as glam as it was real.

After the screening, guests headed upstairs to the rooftop for music by DJ Myles P, who kept the energy flowing all night. The scene was set with an emerald-draped portrait studio, giving attendees a chance to snap high-fashion flicks with the city skyline behind them.

Adding to the evening’s authenticity was an intimate post-screening Q&A moderated by The Hollywood Reporter’s Anaja Smith, who asked the cast about their characters’ journeys, the importance of nuanced portrayals of Black womanhood, and what viewers can expect when the drama unfolds.

Set in the same universe as Tyler Perry’s Sistas, the new series Divorced Sistas explores the lives of five women navigating love, heartbreak, and rediscovery during and after divorce. It’s equal parts raw, hilarious, and heartfelt—a spiritual cousin to Waiting to Exhale and Girlfriends, but with a distinctly 2025 twist.

The eight-episode season premieres on BET+ Tuesday, June 10, with a special sneak peek airing on BET Monday, June 9, immediately following the 2025 BET Awards. New episodes will drop weekly on BET+.
