Rappin' 4-Tay Calls Out Drake for Copying Lyrics

"Playaz Club" rapper goest at Drizzy over "Who Do You Love" feature.

Drake's verse on Y.G.'s latest, "Who Do You Love," has Rappin' 4-Tay questioning why he didn't received credit.

The San Francisco native called out Drake for mimicking a line from his "Playaz Club" single, tweeting Monday (Dec. 30) "New Song w/ @YG Feat @Drake In This Song Drake Copys [sic] My Lyrics & Lines From My PlayazClub Song & Pays No Homage! ???"

On his 1994 track, Rappin' 4-Tay spits, "I got a h-- named reel-to-reel / She got a buddy named SP 12, now you know the deal / We gets freaky in the studio late night / That's why the beats that you hear are comin' real tight."

Similarly, on "Who Do You Love" Drizzy rhymes, "I got a shorty named Texas Sin / She got a buddy named Young JB and now you know the deal / We turnt up in the studio late night / That's why the songs that you hear comin' real tight.”

It's pretty obvious that Drake borrows from "Playaz Club," but the Toronto rapper hasn't yet addressed the issue, or responded to Rappin' 4 Tay's direct message request on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Rappin' 4-Tay shouldn't be too upset with Drake because he has a reputation for pulling things from the rap vault. The 27-year-old Grammy-winner flipped a line from the Dead Prez track "It's Bigger Than Hip Hop" on his 2010 single "Over," covered Juvenile's "Back That A-- Up" on his sophomore album, and recently sampled Wu-Tang's "It's Yourz," for the "Wu-Tang Forever" tribute cut off Nothing Was the Same.
