Grammy winning rapper Curtis "50 Cent" reportedly just signed on to play a football player in the upcoming film Things Fall Apart. Jackson will produce the film and Mario Van Peebles will direct. According to Variety.com:\r
Project's scheduled to begin five weeks of lensing in May in Michigan with Mario Van Peebles directing from a script by Jackson and Brian Miller. The film centers around a star football running back, played by Jackson, who faces a personal tragedy as well as his own mortality while in his senior year in college.\r
Maybe with the success of The Blind Side these types of films will be all the rage in this year. Hopefully, the flick will have a new take on the tortured athlete saved by the love of football.\r
