Lupe Headlining Benefit for Transform America

The Chi-town activist/MC is raising money for mentorship programs with a New York concert.

Lupe Fiasco will be performing at a benefit for Transform America in New York in November.
The Chicago MC, renowned for his outspoken political views, headlines the November 7 concert to raise funds for Transform America's Moving Minds Mentorship program, which links New York high schoolers with college, law and business school students to mentor them and counsel them about education, career guidance, college admissions and financial aid. The concert will take place at New York's Terminal 5, and will also feature Brooklyn chanteuse Maya Azucena and singer-poet Shanelle Gabriel. Lupe's been pushing the concert heavily on his Twitter page. Tickets are available here.

Transform America is a Harlem-based social justice organization that focuses on advancing human rights through partnerships with a wide-ranging network of activists and non-profits. For more information, go to TransformAmerica.org.
