People Are Team Melania After She Curves Trump's Hand for the Second Time
"I can't wait for her to break free and write a tell-all book"
As part of their international tour, Donald and Melania Trump touched down in Rome on Tuesday. Although the people of Italy seemed very happy to greet the first couple, many could not help but notice an awkward encounter when they first deplaned.
As the couple walked down the stairs of Air Force One, Melania curved Trump's attempt to hold her hand
The first lady's sleek move did not go unnoticed
Some commented her action was particularly savage due to Trump's rumored fear of stairs
CNN national correspondent Jeanne Moos once stated Trump "always keeps his eyes on his feet while clutching the railing" of the Air Force One stairs, according to The Hill.
Moos became fascinated with this theory and asked a White House spokesperson about Trump’s possible bathmophobia — fear of stairs and steep slopes. Although she was told her question was "absurd," the rumor became a wide topic of discussion on the internet.
