Last year, NeNe Leakes announced she would not sign up for the thirteenth season of Real Housewives of Atlanta and even called for a boycott of Bravo. The 53-year-old is now saying she would be open to returning to the reality series that made her a household name.
While on an episode of The Real, Leakes told Loni Love and Garcelle Beauvais, who also appears on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, "Yeah, sure. I'll return to the show. I'm okay with returning to the show as long as we can work through a few things. I'd be happy to return to the show."
She also had some thoughts on Bravo exec, Andy Cohen, "I think Andy and I were really close for a really, really long time and I love Benny Boo [Benjamin] and I helped pay for his baby shower and all those things. I think that Andy and I need to have a sit-down and talk and we're off to the races!"
Back in September of 2020, Leakes said about Cohen, "The racist is the master manipulator! They using me for ratings like they have always done."
Last year was not the first time Leakes left the series. NeNe left the reality show briefly for season 9 and returned by season 10.
