Report: Floyd Mayweather to Face Andre Berto on Sept. 12

Boxers seem to already have bad blood brewing between them.

The rumors have been floating around for a while and now it's apparently official.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. will put his undefeated record on the line against Andre Berto in what could be the final fight of his legendary career on Sept. 12 in Las Vegas, TMZ Sports has confirmed. This comes after the boxers' camps have been in negotiations for weeks.

Berto, who will turn 32 years old five days before the bout, is thankful for the opportunity to go up against boxing's cash king.

"It's a pleasure and honor to be in this position and I'm looking forward to capitalizing on every moment of it," Berto told TMZ.

Although he's gracious about landing the fight, Berto has some bad blood relating to Mayweather, claiming the undefeated champion has prank-called his phone over a woman.

We're likely to see everything play out during the promotion of the fight. Mayweather will enter the bout 48-0, while Berto owns a record of 33-3.
