‘Love Is Blind’ Lauren and Cameron Hamilton Welcome Their First Child After Four-Year Journey

The ‘Love Is Blind’ couple celebrates the arrival of their son, Ezra, marking a heartfelt new chapter after years of hope, faith, and perseverance.

“Love Is Blind” alums Lauren and Cameron Hamilton welcome a new bundle of joy to their family.

The couple, who married after their appearance in season one, welcomed a son named Ezra on October 1 at 8:18 p.m., People exclusively revealed.

“He’s been such a blessing already,” Lauren told the outlet, emphasizing how having her son “made the journey all worth it.”

Cameron told the outlet the experience still “feels surreal,” after they tried to conceive for the past four years.

"That said, the 4 a.m. feedings and diaper changes have definitely made it feel more real. I'm grateful for it all,” he expressed.

The Hamiltons say their baby boy’s name came to them effortlessly with a little help from above.

“The name ‘Ezra’ just came to us one day when we first started talking about baby names,” Cameron shared.

“Once I suggested it, we both agreed that was going to be his name. It felt right.”

For Lauren, the name carried even deeper meaning.

“After my dad passed, we were organizing his things and found a Bible that had been his mother’s,” she recalled.

“When we opened it, the Bible opened to the book of Ezra and a picture of my dad fell out. That was a sign.”

After years of hoping and praying, holding Ezra for the first time felt like a full-circle moment for the couple.

“It was such a sense of relief holding him,” Cameron told People.

“I was thinking, ‘We really did it. After all the intentional work we put into making him, he’s here.’”

Lauren described that first embrace as “magical,” saying that once Ezra was placed on her chest, she “didn’t want him to move again.”

Looking down at her newborn, she said one thought immediately came to mind.

“He looks just like Cam. I knew it! I had a dream that he would look like this. But even more than that, I was thinking about how grateful I am to be his mom and raise him.”

Their joy comes after a long, emotional fertility journey, one Lauren opened up about last year on “The Love Seat” podcast.

“This conversation is not the easiest for me,” she admitted at the time. “But I think it’s so important to talk about it so that you can see yourself in the conversation we’re about to have.”

When Cameron asked how the experience shaped their marriage, Lauren reflected that it ultimately brought them closer.

“It has made us feel more connected. I think we support each other and we’re more in tune now,” she said, adding, “When you go through something that’s big and heavy or weighs on your heart, it creates a bond.”

“I think it’s actually made us stronger,” she concluded and a sentiment Cameron wholeheartedly agreed with, now made even truer by the arrival of their son.
