'We Got You, Sis:' Peloton and BET Throw It Up for 10 Seasons of 'Tyler Perry's Sistas'

From candid panel conversations to a celebratory Peloton ride, the two brands came together at Peloton Studios New York to honor a decade of one of cable's most beloved Black-led shows — and the women who keep it alive.

Ten seasons. Let that sink in.

"Tyler Perry's Sistas" has done something that very few Black-led cable shows can claim: it's still here, still pulling audiences, still giving the culture something to talk about on a Wednesday night. That kind of longevity deserves more than a press release — it deserves a whole evening, and on March 4, Peloton and BET delivered exactly that.

"We Got You, Sis," held at Peloton Studios New York, brought together influencers, tastemakers, media, and fans for a night rooted in movement, real conversation, and the kind of community the show has always reflected on screen. The vibe was intentional from the jump — DJ Kharisma held it down on the ones and twos, guests sipped adaptogen-infused mocktails, designed custom fragrance blends at a scent bar, and got their content moment with "Sistas"-branded photo activations. It felt less like a press event and more like an evening your most put-together friend actually planned.

The Panels: Real Talk, No Fluff

Moderator Angela Yee led two conversations that didn't traffic in talking points.

The first, "The Hidden Hustle," brought together singer-songwriter Melanie Fiona, actress Serayah, and "Sistas" newcomer Tunde Oyeneyin — who pulls double duty as a Peloton instructor and now series regular — to dig into burnout, the invisible weight behind success, and what it actually means to redefine achievement on your own terms. The panel got honest about the cost of constantly showing up, and why setting boundaries isn't a buzzword — it's survival.

The second conversation shifted to the show itself, with KJ Smith (Andi), Jordan Coleman (Cheyenne), and Oyeneyin (Madison Pruitt) reflecting on a decade of "Sistas," behind-the-scenes moments, personal wellness, and what sisterhood looks like off-screen as much as on it. Season 10 also marks the return of series regulars Mignon and Crystal Renee Hayslett, alongside a full ensemble that includes Devale Ellis, Angela Beyince, Brian Jordan Jr., and more.

Three Things That Stayed With the Room

You have to fill your own cup first. Every panelist circled back to this in some form. Before you can show up for your career, your family, your friendships — you have to show up for yourself. That means saying no when something doesn't align, and not waiting until you're running on empty to protect your peace.

Stop measuring your chapter against someone else's. Comparison doesn't just steal joy — it distorts your whole perception of progress. The consensus: plan the work, work the plan, and trust that staying the course has a payoff.

Your circle is everything. Whether it's one honest friend or a therapist (ideally both), having people who will give you real feedback — not just hype — is non-negotiable. The show gets that. So did the room.

The Ride

To close the night, Oyeneyin led a Peloton ride with cast members, fans, and notable attendees including Maiya The Don, Tai Beauchamp, Azaryah "Azzy" Milan, and Sonia "Barbie" Tucker. It was exactly the kind of ending a Women's History Month event honoring a decade of Black women on screen deserved — loud, sweaty, and full of energy.

"Tyler Perry's Sistas," executive produced by Tyler Perry, written by Courtney Glaudé, and directed by Armani Ortiz, airs Wednesdays at 9 PM ET / 8 PM CT on BET.
