How Will Guy Be Remembered?

Guy brought us a new style of r&b and hip hop. They will go down in music history for their contributions!
  1. Let's Chill

Guy's hit record "Let's Chill" will forever go down in in R&B history. The song is a classic and was released in 1990. It reached No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also reached No. 3 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart.

Guy's founding group member Teddy Riley has been credited along with producer Bernard Belle as starting new jack swing. The late '80s/ early '90s style of music was the start of mixing R&B flow over hip-hop beats. This style took off fast and is still used to this day. Now that is definitely remarkable!

Guy's song "I Like" may have not reached high on the Billboard charts upon its release in 1988, but it will forever go down as another classic song that we like!

As many groups do, Guy broke up for a couple of years. After breaking up and Teddy Riley forming another group, Blackstreet, they got back together. Teddy Riley and the other group members released a new Guy album after nine years of being apart. The group ended up falling apart after the album didn't do too well but ultimately got back together again.
