Kevin Gates is sporting a new look and he’s being praised by fans far and wide for it. 

Taking to Instagram, the rapper said that he decided to shave his head bald. The reason? In support of one special patient and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“This why I did this,” Gates shares during the Instagram video clip. “You know my hair grow back so fast. My little partner, he in the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He said they be teasing him cause he got a bald head.”

He then goes on to further detail why he decided to shave his head, saying that since his “little partner” has a bald head, he does too.

“Now I got a bald head, too,” the rapper continues. “So when they tease you, they tease me. He got cancer though. Ima get Dreka to send this to his family. They’re gonna love it. Shout out to the Make-A-Wish foundation. I love you all. I don’t care what nobody say about me though. I pray for y’all all the time. Sometimes you gotta live for a cause greater than yourself. Make-A-Wish, I love y’all.”
