Ice Cube Has Harsh Words For Critics Of Dak Prescott’s Commentary On NFL Protests…

"Fuck everybody..."

Unlike his fellow West Coast rap counterpart GameN.W.A. OG Ice Cube isn’t one of the people blasting Dallas Cowboys quarterback star Dak Prescottfor his controversial commentary on players protesting during the national anthem.

Instead, the “F**k Tha Police” emcee says “F**k everybody” with criticisms for Dak, as told to TMZ Sports.

  • Reporters caught up with Cube for his thoughts on the backlash

In case you missed it, the 25-year-old footballer weighed in on the Colin Kaepernick-originated kneeling protests during the singing of the national anthem, a movement that a handful of other players have joined. Prescott claimed that protesting strip away “the joy and the love that football brings a lot of people,” and swore that he’d never partake in it.

The NFL consequently handed down abominable sanctions for Kaepernick’s exercising of his First Amendment right and widely-celebrated political statement. Thus, it should come as no surprise that Prescott’s comments rubbed many people the wrong way. Especially Tyler Wilder, a 29-year-old artist who painted a mural of Prescott in the sunken place in downtown Dallas.

  • ‘It’s bulls**t,’ Cube said of the backlash

He believes Prescott should do whatever he wants despite his critics. “Do what you want to do, man,” Cube declared. “F**k everybody.

The reporter switches gears afterward, and presents an idea for another installation into The Barbershop actor’s blockbuster Friday series with comedy star DC Young Fly and none other than Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr for the roles of Smokey and Craig.

    Yeah, about that…

See how he feels about the Prescott backlash and his answer, or lack thereof, for another Friday sequel in the video below.
