Lizzo Takes the Stage in a Fire Leather Ensemble

The singer looked rock star glam at the BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival

Lizzo wants you to know she is entering her rock star era. The 35-year-old Grammy Award-winner took to the stage at the BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival in a sexy lace-up leather outfit. The figure-hugging bodysuit featured black leather fringe and lace-up details over neon green latex. She accented the look with a bold green eyeshadow with a sharp cut-crease wing.

She performed her many hits for the crowd at the annual event and paid tribute to the late, great Tina Turner before the packed crowd.

Earlier last week, the singer/rapper also rocked a crowd in Phoenix where she saluted the legendary singer saying, "As a Black girl in a rock band, I would not exist if it was not for the queen of rock ‘n’ roll,” she said. “And remember this: There wouldn’t be no rock ‘n’ roll without Tina Turner.” According to The Huffington Post, she then gave a fantastic performance of one of Turner's signature songs, "Proud Mary," complete with killer dance moves

During her performance in Napa Valley, Lizzo also called out some of the things she saw before she arrived at the stadium, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.

“I saw some signs that were very unfriendly towards people like me,” Lizzo told the tens of thousands of fans on Saturday, May 27, who swarmed the JaM Cellars Stage for her headlining set. “I saw signs talking about how they want to cancel people like me. Silence people like me. Choke people like me. And they right across the street. So we gonna sing this one more time so they can hear it, because maybe they haven’t heard it in a long time.”

She then launched into her hit single "Special," and had a set that featured positive messages for the LGBTQ+ community.

The Chronicle confirmed one house near the festival gates has several signs displayed that read “Choke the Woke” and “Cancel Cancel Culture,” among other messages.
