YG Has a Short Film on Deck
After dropping his critically acclaimed studio debut, My Krazy Life, this spring, YG will give fans a Cali Christmas by way of a new movie.
Blame It on the Streets is a short film (30 minutes) with an accompanying soundtrack comprised of six new original songs, two previously unheard remixes and a live version of his "BPT," he announced.
DJ Quik, DJ Mustard and Nipsey Hussle are among the features.
Word is fans will be able to look at his life and music, and will be able to attend screenings in Los Angeles, New York City and Atlanta early next month. Both the movie and soundtrack will be released Dec. 15.
Meanwhile, YG is scheduled to be on the road with A$AP Ferg for their Best Coast Connection tour, which hits up Toronto and Boston later this month, and pick ups again in January 2015. The two delivered a new collab, "This Side," this week to make up for pushing back some of the dates. The plan was to kick off the tour Thursday (Nov. 13).
