Joe Budden has made a major pivot into the podcast world, and his dividends are paying off.

After branching out on his own with his podcast, “The Joe Budden Podcast,” his business has been booming for the retired rapper. 

The 44-year-old recently took to Instagram to share the viewership numbers of his show, but also revealed how much he earns on the Patreon platform. 

The stats show that the host receives 30.2 million total visits to his platform, and also indicate that he’s making a bit over $900,000 due to subscriptions.

Notably, this is separate from the revenue Budden earns from his YouTube channel and other advertisements and sponsors he may work with. 

In an interview from 2024, Budden was asked by special guest Doe Boy how much he earns from the podcast, to which the reality star answered, “$4M” within 10 years. 

“Early on we were doing it for free,” he told Doe Boy. 

“Then we hit a little lick, Spotify. Then ni**as left, the building crumbled a little bit. My friends came to save the day. Probably about three and a half to four a half mil.”

He followed up with words of motivation for other podcasters who may be watching and yearning for the same amount of success. 

“Years of hard work, y’all can do it too,” he exclaimed. 

“It’s not unachievable. This is not unimaginable. If you work hard and keep your head down to the finish line and just focus on your content.”
