"I was living for this moment!! thank you for being so kind to me you’ve made my life 😭💕💕🥰," said Bailey in the comment section of Berry's post. She also posted more photos of her encounter with Berry on her IG Story.

Last year, both women ran into each other again at the Academy Awards.

In May 2023, while appearing on "Live with Kelly and Mark," Bailey discussed meeting Berry at that award show. "She was so kind to me. I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I love you! She's been always really supportive to me over social media, so we've had a few inbox interactions, but that was my first time meeting her. And she's like, an angel."

During that episode, Bailey also opened up on the likeness of their names. When she was born, the new mom said her parents "contemplated" her name's and Berry's similarities.

"And they ultimately decided Halle, and it's very similar to Halle Berry," she added. "But there's no one else I would rather have a similar name to cause she's so cool."
