Rihanna Chided by Fans for Using N-Word on Toddler

Refers to toddler as "my lil n****" in Instagram caption.

Rihanna is known for her controversial posts on social media, but she may have pushed even her most loyal fans too far.
The multi-platinum star has angered many of her 23 million followers by posting a photo on Instagram of herself and a toddler with the caption, "my lil n****." One fan writes, "I love the hell out of [Rihanna] but I hate that word," while another adds, "That word is derogatory. If some cultures aren't allowed to say it, no one should."
While Rih Rih's use of the offensive word to describe a child has many riled up, her fans are encouraging the singer to give it up altogether. The "Stay" singer has been known to use the phrase often.
Rihanna put a Dutch magazine editor on blast last year for referring to her in print as a "n***** b****." While the context was very different, the word clearly makes many uncomfortable regardless of the circumstances.
