Comedic actress Tisha Campbell recently shared her latest character from the upcoming satire “Not Another Church Movie” on her Instagram, and she’s a hoot! Donned in her skin-tight Sunday’s best and sky-high heels, Campbell’s character, Flora Black, tip-toed her way onto the set. 

“Getting into character starts way before one hits the set,” Campbell captioned the video. Ever the seasoned actress, Campbell shared insight into what it takes to embody the people she portrays fully. This church-going woman she’s embodying is particularly blessed from behind and Campbell said she was still working on the physicality of her character. 

Fans in the comments proclaimed that her character reminded them of another curvy, church-going woman: Tamela Mann. 

In the trailer for “Not Another Church Movie,” the lead, Taylor Pharry, played by Kevin Daniels, will also remind viewers of someone they know. The “P” may be silent, but it is there. This comedy is filled with familiar faces like Jamie Foxx as God, Mickey Rourke as The Devil, Vivica A. Fox, Kyla Pratt, Jasmine Guy, and more! The film hits theaters on May 10.
