And of Course, Safaree Has Thoughts for Nicki Minaj's 'No Frauds'
If there’s no one else with a mouthful for the Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma rap queen rivalry, one person you can always count on is Nicki’s former flame and Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood reality star, Safaree.
After recently dropping claims while dropping in with Wendy Williams about his business and intimate relationship with the “Feeling Myself” femcee and her now-ex-boyfriend Meek Mill, Safaree has even more to say about Nicki’s first installation into her feud with Rem: “No Frauds.” In just a couple of tweets, he presumably addresses the track and gives a few “Dos and Don’ts” pointers that appear to be aimed at Nicki.
“Stop letting these producers come and give you structured songs that don’t sound like you, then you add a 12-bar rap to it. #NevaUsedToWorkLikeDat,” he tweeted. “The hardest sh** was never tainted by anybody else… take it how y’all want.”
The single, which was just one of three hits Nicki dropped on Thursday night (March 9), was assisted by Drake and Lil Wayne with production from Murda and CuBeatz. Both producers have frequented hit projects with Drizzy, Travis Scott and Meek Mill as well. Though Safaree hasn’t specifically noted who “tainted” the track, “No Frauds” looks like it has him anxious to jump back in the studio himself.
