Erica Mena Throws Some Ruthless Shade At DJ Envy And His Marriage
Erica Mena is setting the record straight about her relationship with married radio personality DJ Envy almost five years after their affair ended.
The former reality star wrote “I don’t remember you, so why do you,” as the caption for a meme that read, “Remember when you dated…”
One of Mena’s IG followers quickly called her out writing, “remember when you dated envy on the low.” Always one to speak her mind, Mena clapped back writing, “that wasn’t on the low but his marriage was #correction.”
Mena’s belief that Envy intentionally hid his marriage comes as no surprise. Back in 2013, DJ Envy admitted to cheating on his wife, Gia Casey with an unnamed woman during an episode of The Breakfast Club.
Mena told Vibe.com, “DJ Envy’s definitely talk about me, but I’m one of many. I was under the assumption that he had kids but wasn’t actually married. I found out around the time that I started filming Love & Hip Hop. After I found out, I was still in shock because we were together for so long. I didn’t understand how he could take a vow as serious as marriage and take on a whole other relationship.”
The former Love & Hip Hop star is currently embroiled in another love triangle of sorts. During a recent episode of VH1’s Scared Famous, Mena called out co-star Safaree for attempting to flirt with her while also messing around with Tiffany “New York” Pollard.
