Bobby Brown Threatens To Lay Hands On Kanye West Over Pusha-T's Album Cover Art

Yeezy used an image of Whitney Houston's drug-scattered bathroom for 'DAYTONA.'

Kanye West's decision to pay $85,000 to license an image of the drug paraphernalia-filled bathroom where Whitney Houston passed away as the album art for Pusha-T's Daytona album has social media divided. While some fans felt it was art, others were highly offended. One person who took extreme offense to Ye and Pusha's decision is Whitney Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown.

During an interview with Rolling Stone, Brown, who was married to Houston from 1997-2007, called West's decision to use the image "in really bad taste."

So frustrated with the image, Brown even hinted at resorting to violence. "Something should happen to Kanye. He's already crazy. I knew that when I first met him. Now he's pushing the bar a little bit. He needs somebody to slap him up or something. And I'm just the person to do it," the estate wrote.

During an interview with Angie Martinez, Pusha-T revealed that Kanye West decided to change the album cover only hours before Daytona was set to be released. With Pusha refusing to pay the $85,000 licensing fee, West coughed over the cash and purchased the picture himself.

Whitney Houston's estate released an exclusive statement to Entertainment Tonight earlier this week revealing their "extreme" disappointment in "Kanye's choice." "Even in Whitney's death, we see that no one is exempt from the harsh realities of the world."

The music icon tragically passed away from an accidental drowning at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 2012. Heart disease and cocaine use were also listed as contributing factors in her untimely death.
