Stupefied doesn’t begin to explain fans’ reactions to Pusha T’s touchy, Kanye West-assisted album cover for his newly released Daytona project, which features the unsettling 2012 photograph of Whitney Houston’s bathroom.
Seemingly, they can’t help but to wonder how Whitney’s prodigy and R&B songstress icon Brandy might feel about the depiction either. King Push explained that Yeezy footed the $85,000 expense for the picture, but didn’t share much context as to the intent behind its meaning for Daytona. Fans are still trying to figure that out as well as they unpack the seven-track project on Friday (May 25).
In the meantime, others are ringing Brandy’s line to tip her off about GOOD Music’s cover art choice, and they’re suggesting war initiation over it, too.
