Foxy mamas! Nothing highlights the strength of a Black queen quite like the sultry '70s.
With the help of actresses Tika Sumpter, Naturi Naughton and Rutina Wesley, a fab spread in the October issue of Essence pays tribute to iconic TV sleuths of the decade. The up-and-coming starlets are dressed in ensembles inspired by the revolutionary era.
Tika rocks a full afro, while Naturi and Rutina don wavier locks. A glossy pic of all three is frame-worthy with its fur collars, raspberry lips and focus on the three gorgeous, dark chocolate beauties – something you don’t see much of these days.
