Could Oprah be looking to enter the organic food market? Trademark applications filed from Winfrey's business addresses reveal plans for ventures under the names "Oprah's Organics," "Oprah's Farm" and "Oprah's Harvest."

Looks like Oprah Winfrey wants to expand her reach even further by stepping into the organic food and products market.
An investigation by the New York Post revealed that applications from Winfrey's Chicago and Los Angeles business addresses were filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for products under the names "Oprah's Organics," "Oprah's Farm" and "Oprah's Harvest."
"The trademarks were filed for Oprah's farm on Maui to enable the farm to grow and distribute produce on Maui and throughout the Hawaiian Islands," according to a rep for Winfrey.
Winfrey, who owns hundreds of acres of land in Hawaii, could start growing organic crops for her new venture in her own backyard. She's yet to publicly announce the business venture or state whether the products would be distributed nationwide.

According to the filings, some of the products we might expect from these lines include organic salad dressing, sauces and catering services as well as beauty products such as soaps, bath oils, lip balms, hair products and creams.
