It may be hard to believe, but the celebrities we know and love go through embarrassing situations just as much as we do.
Case in point, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey. The super model-turned-reality star shared a horrific yet hilarious encounter she experienced while preparing for the Super Bowl.
Bailey uploaded a selfie happily posing alongside a man she thought was NFL star Tom Brady.
"Confession. I ran into this guy last night in the lobby of the St. Regis. I asked for a picture because I thought he was @tombrady. I really did. I did interviews on the carpets last night saying how cool it was to bump into Tom Brady."
While this encounter appeared to be an average meet and greet, Bailey shared a screenshot of a conversation with her boyfriend, Fox Sports 1 commentator Mike Hill, that left her floored.
"Im going to need you... as your SPORTSCASTER boyfriend... NOT to not know who Tom Brady is," he told her via text.
Bailey, who was surprised by the case of mistaken identity, laughed off the encounter.
She joked, "Looking back now at the picture, ok maybe he is not Tom's long lost twin. But he could be his cousin right or nah? What y'all think?"
