Golden Globes 2022: Ariana DeBose, Will Smith, ‘The Underground Railroad’ Win Big

The ‘King Richard’ actor took home his sixth Golden Globe award.

As we reported in December, the 2022 Golden Globes will air live from Twitter and press release blasts instead of on cable broadcast or Hulu.

The Hollywood Foreign Press is trying to diversify and clean up its image after a scandal blew the lid on the organization’s lack of diversity. Tonight, Jan. 9, finds the award ceremony going forth with announcing its winners, eschewing the red carpet fashions and politically incorrect host jokes in favor of muted live announcements.
