The historic Game 7 of this year's NBA Finals will likely be the one of the most watched sporting events of the year, with Steph Curry and LeBron James going head-to-head one last time for the NBA championship. With the non-stop drama on and off the court, and both James' and Curry's legacies at stake, the game should be an incredible one. That's why one fan has reportedly spent a whopping $99,000 for two courtside seats for the big game.

Per ESPN, the fan bought the tickets on StubHub, and it's the single largest sale in the company's 16-year history. They would not release the buyer's identity, but did say that it was a man who is "well known."

The previous record for a single sale was $37,000 for a courtside seat to Game 4 of the 2008 NBA Finals between the Lakers and Celtics. 

While close to a hundred grand is an astounding price to pay for a pair of tickets, plenty of people are shelling out huge bucks to be in Oracle arena for Game 7. The Warrior's official site sold two tickets for $21,500 each, and the cheapest seats available anywhere are going for $778. If you're ready to ball out, there are still courtside tickets available for $45,000 a pop.

Every game leading up to this game has been a blow up, so let's hope that the money was worth it for these high-rolling fans.
