Cardi B is bringing the Bronx to the WWE. The rapper has officially signed on to host SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium this August—but will she take it a step further and wrestle? According to Triple H, there’s no stopping her.

After a big weekend at Money In The Bank, WWE’s Chief Content Officer sat down with Billboard to talk about what fans can expect from the two-night extravaganza and whether Cardi could make her in-ring debut.

“Can you see her... I don’t know if anybody can control Cardi B, let me just start with that,” he told reporter Noah Reardon. “So if she wants to, I think it’s going to be hard to talk her out of it.”

And if that wasn’t enough of a tease, he added: “The one thing I know about Cardi is, whatever she’s going to do, is what she’s going to do. And you’re sort of kind of just hanging on to the tiger’s tail a little bit there.”

Cardi B has been open about her love for WWE. She’s publicly expressed excitement for wrestling events and stars on social media. In recent years, WWE has featured her music on official playlists, and fans have taken notice of her presence in WWE promotions. Now, she’s taking her fandom to the next level by officially hosting SummerSlam this August.

“She’s excited to do it,” Triple H said. “When you work with people like that, it’s exciting. We’ll see where that goes. But we’re thrilled to be working with her.”

The official announcement came on April 18 in a clip posted to WWE’s X account. Wearing an Eddie Guerrero T-shirt and serving attitude, Cardi waved at the camera and said, “What’s up, WWE universe? Guess what? SummerSlam. MetLife. Two nights. And I will finally be hosting.”

She ended it the only way Cardi could: “And nobody better try me. We gonna turn up!”
