Winston Duke’s Sexy Bedroom Scene In ‘Us’ Is Breaking The Internet

The actor gives BET.com a very unexpected reaction to the viral moment.

Jordan Peele's Us proved to be quite the conversation piece for movie-goers this past weekend, with nearly everyone coming out of the theater dying to share their theories and point out references in the film. While some discussed the film's layered elements and themes after the credits rolled, other couldn't stop talking about one particular image that just keeps on giving: Winston Duke's thighs.

In the film, which recently set the U.S. record for the biggest opening of an original horror movie ever, the Tobagonian's character, Gabe Wilson, got tongues wagging during a comically sexy (but mostly sexy) bedroom scene, which put his infamous thick thighs on full display.

While social media is already making Duke the new ambassador of the "thick thighs save lives" committee, the actor, while he appreciates the love, chose to go a bit deeper when explaining the significance of the scene in question.

"I think that scene really is a conversation of just how disparate of an experience they're having at that time," he told BET.com after laughing at the internet's infatuation with his thickness. "One of [Gabe's] biggest weaknesses is he's not a good listener, and that plays into all the '-isms' that he represents, to me. He represents ultimate privilege and the privilege of not knowing about an experience because he doesn't go through it."

Though his articulate response makes him that more attractive to his admirers, Duke's "head-crushing" thighs — Twitter's words, not ours! — continue to steal the shine.
