Jeezy Weighs In on the Kanye West and Jay Z Beef
The rift between Kanye West and Jay Z kind of caught the hip-hop world off guard. Not much about potential problems between the two surfaced until ‘Ye went on stage recently and called out Hov for being disloyal and a questionable music partner.
Well, everyone is weighing in now. Jeezy, who has collaborated with each artist in the past, was a guest on The Real yesterday (October 26) and was asked his thoughts about what has transpired between the two rap megastars.
“They’re brothers,” he told the show’s panel. “You gotta let brothers work out brotherly stuff. They got history together, let ‘em handle it, they grown men. They gon’ fix it, they gon’ work it out.”
When pressed a little further for more about his take, the Atlanta rapper kindly chose to distance himself from trying to make any headlines on the matter.
“I try not to get into things like that,” he continued. “I’m trying to focus on me and what I got going on, but they’ll be alright.”
Jay Z has yet to publicly respond to Kanye West’s criticism of him. So far it’s clear he hopes this thing will die out or will be taken care of behind the scenes rather than turn into a public back-and-forth. Check out Jeezy’s full comments about Jay and Kanye below.
