Twitter Is Going All the Way in on Miley Cyrus's Comments About Hip-Hop

Her new interview has got people talking...

Miley Cyrus is gearing up to make her return to the music game and is currently readying her first major label studio album since 2013's Bangerz.

However, during her new interview with Billboard, the singer made a series of comments that are 100 percent already coming back to bite her.

During the conversation, she shares that she will be returning to her roots as a singer inspired by country music and that, due to hip-hop's lyrical subject matter, she has been backing away from a genre and a culture that — as many fans are pointing out — she herself has spent years appropriating.

"But I also love that new Kendrick [Lamar] song ["HUMBLE."]," the 24-year-old entertainer commented, quoting the rapper's infamous line, "Show me somethin' natural like a** with some stretch marks.'"

She then elaborated further, adding, "I love that because it's not, 'Come sit on my d**k, suck on my c**k.' I can't listen to that anymore."

The cringe-worthy moment then continued, with the singer essentially explaining that she doesn't like hip-hop, but Lamar gets a pass.

"That's what pushed me out of the hip-hop scene a little," she commented. "It was too much 'Lamborghini, got my Rolex, got a girl on my c**k' — I am so not that."

Naturally, Twitter immediately lit up, with many criticizing Miley for her "awakening" regarding her shift in artistic direction and pointing out that the singer's attempt to win over a rap-leaning audience has failed significantly, despite her best attempts at appropriation.

Take a look at how fans of rap are reacting to Miley Cyrus's recent comments in the tweets below.
