Update: LeBron James Just Made His Historic Contract With the Cavs Official

Major stacks on deck.

The ink's dry.

After it was reported Thursday afternoon that LeBron James would be re-signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers on a three-year, $100 million contract extension, the three-time NBA champion made it official Friday.

That's when King James took to his Instagram account to show the inking of his new deal that will keep him in The Land.

Man of his word.

After leading the Cleveland Cavaliers back from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, King James has agreed to a three-year, $100 million contract extension with the Cavs, ESPN is reporting.

He spoke about his excitement staying in The Land via Uninterrupted on Thursday afternoon.

Although Stephen Curry was named the league's MVP for the second straight season earlier this year, LeBron left no doubt that he's the best player on the planet.

King James, 31, averaged a ridiculous 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game over the Finals to be named Finals MVP, leading the Cavs to an NBA title victory — his third championship ring.

According to ESPN, James will make $31 million during the first year of the deal, making him the highest-paid player in the league for the first time in his legendary career.

Well deserved.
