Dionne Warwick Documentary To Premiere Next Year

The iconic musician has a career that has spanned five decades.

A documentary on the legendary Dionne Warwick will air next year.

According to Deadline, Dionne Warwick: Don’t Make Me Over will premiere on CNN Jan. 1, 2023 at 9 pm ET and PT. The CNN original film is directed by Dave Wooley and David Heilbroner.

CNN Films said in a press release, “Ms. Warwick’s own velvet-toned voice largely tells the story of her music and life for the film, underscoring her creative and cultural legacies during six decades of an extraordinary career. The film explores her stunning range of musical styles and versatility.”

The 81-year-old celebrated on Twitter, writing, “What a dream. Thank you to my entire team.”

Dionne Warwick: Don’t Make Me Over originally premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival.

Dionne Warwick is a five-time Grammy Award-winning artist and one of the 40 biggest hit makers of all time. Besides her music, Warwick used her fame for the greater good becoming an United Nations Ambassador for the Food and Agriculture Organization and a United States Ambassador of Health and advocate for HIV/AIDS.
