Watch Jalaiah Harmon Slay Her ‘Renegade Dance’ On ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

She also explains the origin of the viral dance.

The past few weeks have been pretty wild for teenager Jalaiah Harmon.

After seeing her “Renegade” dance go viral, the 14-year-old finally got credit for creating it (thanks to the power of Black Twitter) and performed it at the2020 NBA All-Star Game. Now, she is taking her talents to The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

On Thursday (February 20), she performed the dance, which is set to K Camp’s song “Lottery,” alongside Ellen resident DJ and dancer Stephen “tWitch” Boss.

After doing her dance, DeGeneres asked Harmon how long it took her to come up with the viral movies. "It only took about 5 to 10 minutes, but it took a lot of tries,” she said.

Ellen then gifted Harmon with a jacket reading “the original Renegade dancer” on the back and with her name on the front. There were five pockets on it, each containing $1,000.
