Serena Williams is enjoying the last summer days with a date night before she welcomes baby number 2.

On Tuesday (August 15), the Grand Slam champion shared a post to her followers on Instagram of her alongside her husband, Alexis Ohanian, as the couple geared up for an evening out, as reported by PEOPLE. In the photo of the post, the Reddit co-founder showered his wife with love by caressing her growing bump and kissing her cheek. Williams looks overjoyed, smiling from ear to ear.

In the photo, the happy parents are a cohesive unit, dressed in black from head to toe. Ohanian is relaxed and casual in shorts, a t-shirt, and a pair of Crocs; all topped off with a baseball cap. The tennis star is easygoing in a long sleeve lace top, a long fitted skirt, and a pair of Nike sneakers accentuated in black, gold, and white.

“Gotta love Date night,” the mom-to-be wrote in the caption of the post.

In May, while on the red carpet at the Met Gala, Williams announced that she was pregnant with their second child.

Earlier this month, the expecting mom announced in a video diary on her YouTube channel that she is having another girl. That video also captured the fun times that were had during her gender reveal party with her family, including their 5-year-old daughter Olympia, who will soon become a big sister.

But before they revealed the baby's gender, Ohanian flexed his comedic side by trolling Williams with the cake. When she cut into it, the inside was yellow, not pink or blue. Williams playfully gestured with the slice she cut, as though to smash it into her beau’s face. “Do not do this ever again,” Olympia quipped.

After the prank, the family and their guests gathered outside underneath the nighttime sky for the actual reveal. While staring up, the words “IT’S A…” appeared, then vanished. Finally, “GIRL!” appeared in pink, and the growing family erupted joyfully.

The proud parents exchanged kisses, while Ohanian held Olympia in his arms.
