After word got out that Common was reportedly dating Jurrasic Park actress Laura Dern, confusing much of Black Twitter, folks can now take a deep breath as it's all apparently not true. Hip Hollywood confirms that their relationship is strictly platonic, with the two just working on a film together. 

US Weekly first broke the story that Common and Laura were having a dinner date at Bouchon in Los Angles earlier this month. It was even confirmed that the rapper met the actress' children, but now it is confirmed that no romance was involved between them.

When asked if the two were seeing each other, a source close to the Chicago rapper said, "Not true."

So, looks like Common's still on the market, ladies.
